We'll review it, send you a ballpark quote, and, if it’s a fit, invite you to a pre‑production chat.
Pre-Production & Plan
In a 30-ish minute chat, you’ll talk through your vision, goals, references, and timelines.
From there, we’ll lock in a clear plan, answer any questions about the process you may have, lock in a final quote, and look at studio dates.
Recording, Mixing & Release
Come into Island to track with Tom (or send your stems for mixing), get your mixes back, give notes, and we’ll finalise your song ready for release.

Meet Tom - your studio guru!
Tom Wormald
With over a decade of experience in music production and audio engineering, Tom's journey began at a young age when he picked up his first guitar. Despite the challenge of playing a right-handed guitar as a lefty, Tom persisted. Since then, his dedication to music has taken him from performing in Adelaide to studying in Melbourne, and ultimately working as an audio engineer and producer.
In 2012, Tom delved into electronic music production by immersing himself in Ableton Live. Inspired by artists like Flume, he devoted hours to mastering the craft.
Since then, Tom has worked across many genres, and has found his calling in indie-rock and pop productions. He loves working with artists just like you to capture the tones you've been dreaming of hearing, and to bring your creative visions to life.

Who will I be working with in studio?
You’ll work directly with Tom as your engineer/producer for recording, editing and mixing. Joseph will take of mastering once you're happy with your mixes.
How many mix revisions do I get?
Every project includes 3 mix revisions for each song to ensure you're 100% happy with your mixes. Normally, we find that artists are happy after the 1st or 2nd revision, however, you've got the 3rd up your sleeve if you need it.
What else is included in my project?
Short answer - a lot!!!
Bonus Inclusion 1:
Because we want you to succeed, every project that we mix comes with our Music Distribution & Marketing 101 Course - designed to teach you the foundations of releasing and promoting your music so that you can get the absolute most out of your hard work. This course is normally $247, but you'll get lifetime access to it for free.
You'll learn how to get your press assets sorted, how to get your music onto streaming platforms, how to pitch and be playlisted, plus much, much more!
Bonus Inclusion 2:
If you're recording with us for a day or more, we'll create a behind-the-scenes video for you, for free! We'd normally charge $250 each for these short videos. However, once again, because you're recording with us, we want to do all we can to help you succeed. This will be a great asset to help you promote your song leading up to its release.

To help you feel supported along the journey and to make sure you're 100% happy with your results, we aways include:
- A pre-project consultation to ensure we're on the same page and understand your unique vision for the project
- 3 mix revisions for each song
- Support at each step of the process so that you always understand the current step of the process and know what's coming next
How long will I need to book?
Generally, if you're in a band, then we recommend around 1 day per song to get everything recorded. Some bands who are super well-rehearsed and don't have ultra-complex arrangements can get through their recording faster than this. Whilst other bands with really in-depth arrangements (multiple guitar, key, vocal layers, with a string arrangement thrown in for good measure) may require longer than 1 day per song.
If you're just looking to record vocals to a backing track, then you'll likely only need a couple of hours in the studio to get your vocals down before we proceed to mix it for you.
If your timeline seems off, we'll let you know and can talk through what we think is best for you and your music.
Can I book Joseph instead?
Joseph takes on a limited number of higher‑budget projects with a 2–3 month wait. If that’s what you’re after, mention it on the form, and we’ll let you know current rates and availability.
